Here is a question I received through email:

"Hello George; I have a sears riding mower; fuel pump failure. 4 cyc engine, 10 HP, model no 143.629022; the fuel pump no longer available. in the manuel; fuel pump is no 149- part no 32959. Do you know a repair shop for this or can you recommend a work around; another fuel pump with similar characteristics. Appreciate any help you can give;"

Here is my reply:

"Hi, You can still find used fuel pumps on ebay, and most sellers stand behind the items their selling because they want to maintain good feedback. Also PayPal and ebay offer buyer protection. Go to ebay.com and type in the manufacturer and model of your engine. For example, I typed in "Tecumseh HH100 fuel pump" and found this:

George"
