Trump Attacks Thomas Massie Again
« on: May 20, 2025, 06:17:35 PM »
Trump: "I don't think Thomas Massie understands government...I think he should be voted out of office."

Translation: You can't be honest and a good politician at the same time?

I'm surprised Donald Trump wants an honest politician voted out of office, but maybe I shouldn't be surprised. He attacks Thomas Massie while standing next to Mike Johnson. Birds of a feather...

Thomas Massie is an honest politician in a sea of dishonesty. It's very possible the real reason for targeting Massie has more to do with his stance on Israel and AIPAC, than anything else. But we will all see.

Well well well, it looks like Elon Musk would agree with Thomas Massie about Trumps big beautiful stupid bill.

DOGE: Elon Musk expresses his frustration over the Big Beautiful Bill. While it keeps the president's campaign promises it fails to cut the deficit or even address the waste, fraud, and abuse that DOGE identified. Presumably, USAID's funding isn't impacted by the bill. I can't help but agree with Senator Ron Johnson that we ought to reset the government's budget/spending to pre-pandemic levels adjusted for inflation. That would be a great start.
