I bet every person in this Gucci store would say they support "de fund the police" during the riots after George Floyd died. It was the wrong thing to support, but acceptable and didn't come with any blow-back, and your support was easily forgotten. But once you get robbed because no one is enforcing the law, and kicked in the face by the reality of criminals and no cops, no arrests, no punishment, it forces anyone with any sense to reconsider.
When I was researching the Vespa Christian Dior scooter from last year, the optional Christian Dior bag for the scooter was $3500. The bag for the scooter is similar to a Christian Dior hand bag. Gucci hand bags are priced the same as Christian Dior, so these guys made off with over $10,000 in merchandise and nobody is allowed to stop them.
