These Cadillac's are custom made by GM for the American government at a cost of 1 to 1.5 million per car. They are so heavy from being reinforced with armor to protect the occupants from gun fire and explosions that the 'cars' are built on a truck platform. All you need to do is look at the size of the wheels to see this isn't a normal Cadillac. This car weighs between 15,000 and 20,000 pounds making it too heavy to be classified as a Light Duty vehicle where Cadillac cars belong. These vehicles are classified as Medium Duty, but are masquerading as a Light Duty Cadillac car.
I would guess these Cadillac's get between 5 to 10 miles per gallon fuel economy.
