Title: Digital Gear Indicator Harley Davidson Part No: 70900078
Post by: Wintey Wonder on July 22, 2015, 05:21:49 AM
Hi I am new here. I have Harley Digital Gear Indicator fitted to my 2009 Road King Classic. It has been working fine for the past couple of years but now
after about 45 minutes to an hours riding it will only display the first gear and the figure 8N for all of the other gears. I am trying to find out if the unit is
unserviceable or is some other part on the bike interfering with it. Any help would be appreciated.

I think the electronics in this device are sealed, so there is no way to repair or replace the electronic components. Harley Davidson doesn't seem to provide any support for this item outside of sales. I contacted Harley Davidson, and they said they didn't have any information on the device. You can try checking the wiring connector to make sure all wires are clean and connected properly.

I noticed on Harley Davidson's website that this item did not get very good reviews and several people had problems with the device.

If you find any information about your gear indicator, than please post it hear so others can read the info.
