This is the installation instruction manual for Kawasaki Tachometer #K53020-381. This manual is still on Kawasaki's website but it is hard to find. The tachometer is listed as being out of stock, but I have also heard it is discontinued. I want to post the manual here in case the tachometer is discontinued and before Kawasaki removes it from their website. The manual also has useful information for the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 and 2000 you can use to help install an aftermarket tachometer. Both the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 and 2000 use a single fire ignition. The Kawasaki tachometer #K53020-381 will fit the following Kawasaki motorcycles:
Vulcan 2000 Classic 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006
Vulcan 2000 Classic LT 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006
Vulcan 900 Classic 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006
