Title: Harley Davidson "less than tolerant" Parts Ad - 1977
Post by: smallengineshop on April 30, 2019, 05:50:03 PM
Here's an interesting ad by Harley Davidson released in 1977. Its an ad meant to encourage Harley Davidson motorcycle owners to buy original Harley Davidson parts. It talks about how intolerant The Motor Co. is towards aftermarket replacement parts for Harley Davidson motorcycles. The ad doesn't use the word intolerant but says "less than tolerant" instead. All motorcycle manufacturers feel this way about aftermarket parts, but today they would never connect their brand name to being intolerant. Its killing me not to comment more about this.
