A man in India was traveling on his motorcycle when he hit a tree and died instantly. The local police impounded the motorcycle, but the next day the motorcycle was gone. The motorcycle was found back at the spot where the man died. The local police impounded the motorcycle once again, but this time made sure it couldn't be moved by draining all the fuel and locking it behind a secure gate. The next day the motorcycle was gone from the police station and found back at the tree where the man died. Locals saw what was happening and determined this is special motorcycle and made it a deity. The motorcycle is now worshiped in India. Locals actually pray to this motorcycle and it's owner, Om Singh Rathore, for a safe journey.
None of this make sense to me. Why would anyone pray for a safe journey to a motorcycle and rider that hit a tree and was killed, but whatever.
The motorcycle is a Royal Enfield Bullet model that has been in production since 1931. The motorcycle worshiped is a 350 or 346cc versions if the number is correct on the side plate. This motorcycle is located near Jadhpur, India, and is called Om Banna.
This has to be one of the most interesting motorcycle stories I've ever heard.
