Where are the flying cars?

(1/1)

smallengineshop:
Many Americans in the early 1980's thought we would have flying cars by the early 2000's. Proof of that is seen in the movie Blade Runner, released in 1982, which takes place in year 2019, with flying cars and even robots that look and act so much like humans they need specialists to determine if a robot is human or not. Well, were 5 years past 2019, and everyone knows were no closer to safe flying cars than we were in 1980. In fact, we've gone backwards instead of forwards in many areas.

Case in point, Planet Fitness thinks a man can be a woman, and is forcing female staff and patrons, including little girls, to share bathrooms with these men. Something unthinkable in 1982. This decision by Planet Fitness is in spite of proof that many men claiming to be women were assigned to female prisons and sexually assaulted female prisoners, and were determined to be a danger to other inmates.

So you see, just because time passes it doesn't always results in advancement, even if it is called 'progress.' Our ruling class today can't see clear enough to protect women and children from these people. It's hard to imagine a flying car in every garage and robots that look like Sean Young coming from people who deny biology.
