Off Topic Posts / Why is this such a problem?
« Last post by smallengineshop on Today at 05:30:59 PM »I remember when I worked at a retail store and they hired a black guy to work in retail sales. This guy would show up everyday with a back-pack he stored in the employee room. Coming to work with a back pack wasn't unusual, and a lot people used them to store their personal items when commuting on bus. He seemed like an OK person, and I don't remember ever thinking anything bad about him at the time. He worked there for several months, than quit. When inventory time rolled around management realized several thousand dollars of one particular product was unaccounted for. This guy was sneaking this product into his back-pack during his shift, and taking it home.
You can't always read people, and sometimes it's just better to avoid certain types people based on common sense observations. It's just the way it is. It's not a sin to take care of yourself and protect your belongings.
